National Association of Chronic Disease DirectorsFilling Critical Data Gaps with the Youth Mental Health Tracker
About This Event
Surgo Health, a Public Benefit Corporation, has developed the Youth Mental Health Tracker (YMHT)—a comprehensive and actionable mental health and wellbeing data platform designed to support youth-focused solutions nationwide. The YMHT also features ThriveAtlas™, a powerful, county-level tool to measure the upstream factors at a community level that influence youth wellbeing. Together, these tools provide insights that help policymakers, advocates, researchers, and communities better understand and respond to the mental health and wellbeing needs of young people. This webinar will provide an overview of the YMHT and explore how its data and insights can be leveraged to support evidence-based decision-making and program design.
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
✅ Describe the key features and functions of the Youth Mental Health Tracker.
✅ Explain the six key factors linked to youth mental health and wellbeing: social support, sense of belonging, physical health, stress, negative life experiences, and social media.
✅ Summarize how to interpret and apply YMHT data to inform program design, policy development, and strategic decision-making in youth mental health.
✅ List the capabilities of ThriveAtlas™, including how it can be used to identify geographic differences and target resources more effectively.
